SECTION 1 - STAINLESS STEEL & ANTI-TARNISH JEWELRY DISCLAIMER

  • 1.1 Material & Hypoallergenic Properties: At Ovara Jewels, our jewelry is crafted using high-quality stainless steel featuring advanced plating technology (such as Physical Vapor Deposition / PVD gold plating) to ensure water-resistant, anti-tarnish durability. While stainless steel is highly hypoallergenic and resistant to rust and green skin discoloration, we cannot guarantee that our products will be 100% reaction-free for individuals with extreme metal sensitivities. Ovara Jewels is not liable for any allergic reactions or skin sensitivities that may occur. It is the customer's responsibility to know their metal sensitivities prior to purchasing.

  • 1.2 Defining "Anti-Tarnish": Our jewelry is designed to be highly resistant to tarnishing, fading, and water. However, “anti-tarnish” does not mean “indestructible.” The long-term durability of the anti-tarnish barrier depends heavily on proper jewelry care, individual body chemistry, and environmental exposure.

  • 1.3 Jewelry Care & Wear Limitations: To prolong the life and luster of your pieces, customers are advised to follow standard jewelry care practices. While our stainless steel pieces are water-resistant and suitable for daily wear, prolonged or repeated exposure to the following may eventually wear down or dull the protective plating over time:

    • Harsh chemicals, perfumes, body lotions, hairsprays, and sanitizers.

    • Chlorine (pools/hot tubs) and heavy saltwater.

    • Abrasive surfaces or materials that can scratch the protective outer barrier.

  • 1.4 Damage: Normal wear-and-tear, scratches, or dulling of plating caused by improper care, chemical exposure, or physical abuse is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under our return or exchange policies.
